Claire Evans

Claire is horrified to realise that she has worked in insolvency for a quarter of a century. Originally from London, she moved to Yorkshire for university then forgot to go home. Nowadays she divides her time between Yorkshire and the South East.

Claire’s first job in law was attending the Hillsborough Inquest, for Hammond Suddards. She trained as a solicitor at Walker Morris, qualifying into the insolvency department in 1997, where she had the dubious honour of putting Bradford City and Leeds United into administration. Later she joined Gordons LLP, helping to establish their insolvency team before setting up on her own in 2011, working effectively “in house” at an insolvency practice, where she first worked with Zane.

Claire is well known for providing friendly, creative, straightforward and honest advice to directors, companies, creditors, insolvency practitioners and accountants.
